David Maloney

Attorney at Law

We take our time to listen to and understand our clients’ concerns and customize a solution that directly responds to their individual needs.

When David Maloney founded his law firm in 2009, after years of practicing in a larger firm, he did so with a clear objective in mind. He understood working with a lawyer was a new and unfamiliar experience for many people.  He also knew that when those people wanted to buy or sell a home or commercial real estate, start a business, or prepare an estate plan, they needed sound, affordable legal advice and a steady, reliable hand to guide them.

Maloney Law, LLC is built on the simple principle that legal representation does not have to be intimidating to be exceptional; that everyone deserves a lawyer they can trust and who makes them comfortable. Everyone deserves a lawyer who treats them with respect and communicates with them in clear, understandable language, not a bunch of legalese. Everyone deserves a lawyer who is accessible and responsive to their needs. And everyone deserves a lawyer who provides them with peace of mind and the confidence that comes from knowing that an experienced, committed attorney has their best interests at heart.

For over 16 years, David has helped clients close thousands of real estate transactions, prepare comprehensive estate plans, and set their businesses on a path for success. He is humbled by the trust his clients place in him, and values the relationships he develops with those he has the privilege to represent.

A graduate of the University of Dayton, David earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law. He is active in many professional organizations, including the Illinois State Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, and the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors.

Dave lives in Mundelein with his wife and three sons. When he is not serving clients or watching the many sporting events his children participate in, he tries to find time for an occasional round of golf.
